| Description | | Welcome to Part II of DoD worldwide housing: The US Navy. If you're working in a Navy organization you can better serve your military customers if you understand the world in which they live. This course starts with the Navy chain-of-command from the President of the United States to the Chief of Naval Operations and down the Command chain to the Navy Housing Service Centers. Then it covers life in the Navy and the many deployments and Permanent Change of Station (PCS) moves which all service members come to expect. Next is a review of the challenges, stress and traditions which impact Sailors throughout their careers as they support or are a direct part of the Navy’s warfare mission. And finally it focuses on the many different warfare and support specialties and how you tell them apart by the insignia they wear and how you address them in the housing office.
