| Description | | Welcome to Part II of DoD worldwide housing: The US Marine Corps. If you're working in a Marine Corps organization you can better serve your military customers if you understand the world in which they live. This course starts with the Marine Corps chain-of-command from the President of the United States to the Commandant of the Marine Corps and down the Command chain to the Marine Corps Housing Office. Then it covers life in the Marine Corps and the many deployments and Permanent Change of Station (PCS) moves which all service members come to expect. Next is a review of the challenges, stress and traditions which impact Marines throughout their careers as they support or are a part of the Navy’s warfare mission. And finally it focuses on the many different warfare and support specialties and how you tell them apart by the insignia they wear and how you address them in the housing office.
