| Description | | Welcome to Part II of DoD worldwide housing: The US Army. If you're working in an Army organization you can better serve your military customers if you understand the world in which they live. This course starts with the Army chain-of-command from the President of the United States to the Chief of Staff of the Army and down the Command chain to the Army Housing Services. Then it covers life in the Army and the many deployments and Permanent Change of Station (PCS) moves which all service members come to expect. Next is a review of the challenges, stress and traditions which impact Soldiers throughout their careers as they support or are a direct part of the Army’s warfare mission. And finally it focuses on the many different warfare and support specialties and how you tell them apart by the insignia they wear and how you address them in the housing office.
